About Apostolos Maris

Apostolos Maris is a multi-instrumentalist and music enthusiast with rich experience in traditional and modal music. He plays kanonaki, oud, laouto, ney, and guitar, and has performed in Greece and abroad. He is a founding member of the Orchestra of the Cyclades and Estoudiantina Cyclades. He holds a Master’s in Education and works as an Occupational Therapist for the elderly. His favorite music group is Birbillia, with George Georgousopoulos on piano and Eftyhia Panopoulou as singer.
