Born in 1938 - 12 years in RAF then 30+ years in the Dept of Applied Statistics at Reading University as a programmer. Widower since 2018. Now long retired and spend a lot of my time as a volunteer helping the Berkshire Aviation Museum <museumberksav@gmail.com>. Still manage to play badminton occasionally. Other than aviation my main interest is SF & SF fandom.
